The engineering team at Owlfly LLC created a new type of safe, effective, and affordable thermal insulation for buildings based on the nest architecture of yellowjacket wasps. They called the product “YellowJacket™ insulation” after the wasps that inspired it.

We are currently working to manufacture YellowJacket™ insulation at scale, and hope to launch the produce in early 2026.
